Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapy
What is Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapy?
Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapy approach believes in working with you as a whole person, including your feelings, physical body, mind and spirit. There are many techniques used to help you develop yourself and the relationships you have with others.
How does Humanistic Integrative approach work?
Humanistic integrative Psychotherapy focuses on creating and maintain a healthy relationship between the client and therapist, to allow you to bring your body, mind, spirit and feelings together as a whole person. Working together with the therapeutic relationship, allowing you to engage in reprocessing these issues and working through them.
Principles of Humanistic Integrative Counselling
The assumptions with this approach are that you have the ability to take responsibility for yourself and your choices, with the ability to reach your full potential, the therapist will work with you to achieve your full potential. Whilst taking your external environment into account and how your environment may be affecting you whether it’s culture, social, personal relationships or other experiences.
Humanistic Integrative Therapists
Therapists will build a trusting therapeutic relationship, enabling you to openly discuss your issues, focussing on your feelings, emotions and thoughts. A Humantic Integrative therapist will work with any internal and external issues, providing insight into you as a whole person: mind, body and spirit.
