FAQ's

'Counselling and psychotherapy are umbrella terms that cover a range of talking therapies. They are delivered by trained practitioners who work with people over a short or long term to help them bring about effective change or enhance their wellbeing.' BACP

It normally takes a couple of sessions for your awareness to increase and to start seeing changes/improvements in your life. How long you’re in Counselling for, depends on your issues and how willing you are to deal with your issues. There's no set limit on the number of sessions you have; you decide when you want to end the Counselling process.

Therapy session fees work on a sliding scale depending on your financial circumstances. These scale from 25 to 65 per session.

Unemployed and or a student (no savings)   £25

Employed and a student (self funded)            £35

Working but financially struggling                    £45

Full session costs                                                  £55

Couples Counselling                                            £65

The above session costs are based solely on trust - no evidence is required when informing me of the cost which suits your circumstances.
